Joining Aviela Care LTD

Due to the work we do, Aviela Care will complete your onboarding checks before you can start working with us which can include reference checks, a DBS and covering any gaps in your employment history. We’ll also arrange a visit to one of our services or offices so that we can obtain copies of your ID documents.

But don’t worry! Our Onboarding team will be in touch to let you know all of the things we will need from you!

On your first day you’ll receive a warm welcome from the team where you will start the necessary training and induction.

  •  A support worker role will vary depending on the person you’re supporting, as well as seniority and specialism, but generally speaking you will be supporting vulnerable people with many aspects of their day-to-day living, helping them to take care of themselves and live a fulfilled life.
  •  Different people will need support for different reasons. For instance, they may have mental health needs, learning disabilities, medical conditions or physical disabilities. 
  • All positions require a DBS check. 
  • Experience in a similar position is welcomed but not required as training is provided. 


  • This position requires you to have been actively driving for a minimum of 2 years in the UK. A DBS check is mandatory for this position.

Job Description:

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail (envelopes, packages, etc.)
  • Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
  • Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
  • Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, checks etc.
  • Take minutes of meetings and dictations
  • Assist in office management and organization procedures
  • Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, stationery etc.) and report when there are shortages
  • Assist in making travel arrangements and booking venues for conferences and events
  • Perform other office duties as assigned
